Choose either the Sept. 21 or Sept. 22 workshop to learn the techniques for making Southwest pots and to try your hand at painting your own with Southwest artist Michael Kanteena. You will clean the pottery, created by Kanteena, in the "greenware" state, then paint and prepare it for firing. At the end of the day you will take home a beautiful piece of handmade pottery, that you have painted, and that can be fired at a local shop (more information about firing will be provided at the workshop.)
Cost: $30/person, limit 20 people per class.
RSVP and advanced payment required. Please call the museum at 303-492-6892 to reserve your space.
