The University of Colorado Museum of Natural History's newest exhibition Ancient Southwest: Peoples, Pottery and Place, will kickoff with an opening reception.
A members only private tour will be held at 6 p.m., followed by a public reception at 6:30 p.m. and a lecture by University of Colorado Museum of Natural History Curator of Anthropology Steve Lekson at 7 p.m.
The exhibition will include a display of more than 100 pots from the museum's collection. It will also highlight the southwestern landscape of the ancients by aerial photographer Adriel Heisey.
