Dinosaur Moms & Babies
Explore the new exhibit �Hatching the Past: Dinosaur Eggs & Babies.� See a pair of actual, giant Oviraptor eggs. Pretend to be a paleontologist and dig replica dinosaur eggs out of a Theropod nest. Examine baby Protoceratops. Make a dino-mite craft to take home.

Creepy Crawlies
Explore bugs, reptiles, and spiders. Did you know that tarantulas shed their skin, and that butterflies have scales? Find out what a snake feels like, and handle a live Madagascan hissing cockroach. Examine insect parts under a microscope. Discover how cool creepy crawlies really are!

Grades 3-6 - Workshops for children entering 3rd � 6th grade in the Fall
Predator & Prey
Explore the world of predators and their prey. Feel the sharp talons and beak of a hawk. Examine the teeth of a mountain lion. Dissect an owl pellet to see what owls eat. See a bat, and do a bat/moth game. Find out how different kinds of prey protect themselves from being eaten.

Egg-stra, Egg-stra!
Explore the new exhibit �Hatching the Past: Dinosaur Eggs & Babies.� See a pair of actual, giant Oviraptor eggs, and dig replica dinosaur eggs out of a Theropod nest. Then, investigate the descendants of dinosaurs � birds! Do �eggs-periments� that test the strength of eggshells, touch an ostrich egg, dissect a bird egg to see its different parts, and look at a chick embryo under a microscope.
