SCHEDULE FOR ANNUAL FAMILY DAY AT THE MUSEUM

This will be a wonderful opportunity for families to explore the many facets of Colorado wildlife through hands-on activities, storytelling, special tours, and demonstrations throughout the Museum. The Museum has released the preliminary schedule of activities.
 
Mini Tour - Wildlife of Colorado - 1:30pm in the Biology Hall
 
Wildlife Watch - Bringing Birds to your Backyard - 2:00pm Biology Hall
 
Caricatures by Ken Crouse - 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Dino Hall
 
Mini Tour - Object Conversations - 2:30pm in the Changing Gallery
 
Mini Tour - Early Peoples of Colorado - 3:00pm in the Anthropology Hall
 
Wildlife Watch - Bringing Birds to your Backyard - 3:30pm in the Biology Hall
 
Mini Tour - Fossils in our Backyard - 2:30pm in the Dino Hall
 
On-Going Educational and Fun Activities throughout the Museum:
Biology Hall - City of Boulder Mountain Parks and Open Space, Colorado Division of Wildlife, The Denver Zoo, Plaster animal tracking, and Nature drawing and art activities.
 
Dino Hall - Fossil excavation, Caricatures by Ken Crouse, and Balloon animals.
 
Anthropology Hall - Excavation discovery, Navajo weaving, Petroglyph art, Ancient tools demo.
 
Object Conversations (Changing Gallery) - Boulder County Parks and Open Space, The Denver Botanical Gardens, Plant pressing, and Insect exploration.

The CU Museum's Family Day - Boulder's Backyard - The Wildlife of Colorado will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2005 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in the Henderson Building on the University of Colorado - Boulder campus (directions and parking information).
