A "Request for Transfer of Credit" form can be completed and sent to the Graduate School after one semester as a graduate student. The maximum number of semester hours that may be transferred from another accredited institution is 9. Courses taken at another University of Colorado campus or as a Special Student at the University of Colorado at Boulder may be recommended by the Museum and Field Studies Program for transfer, however, the total number of credits that may be transferred is limited to 9. No "Request for Transfer of Credit" form is necessary for courses taken as a Special Student, since these already appear on the student's University of Colorado at Boulder transcript.
