Old Main, the oldest building on the University of Colorado - Boulder Campus, with the Flatiron mountains in the background.

The University of Colorado at Boulder's location next to the Rocky Mountains offers easy access to hiking, biking, skiing, camping, and other recreational activities. A variety of jobs are available in the community. Whether you are going to a concert at the historic Fox Theatre on University Hill, cycling the creek path or strolling the Pearl Street Mall, you will enjoy the diverse activities Boulder has to offer.

For families, married couples, and single parents, the university maintains furnished and unfurnished one-, two-, or three-bedroom apartments a short walk from campus. A limited number of efficiency or studio apartments are available to single graduate students who are 21 or older. Prices here are less expensive than in the Boulder community. Eligible applicants must be registered full time students. To find out more information or to get on a waiting list, contact the Family Housing Office.

Most graduate students typically live in one of the many apartments, condominiums, or houses in Boulder. Off-Campus Student Services maintains a listing of rooms, houses, and apartments for rent in the Boulder area.
