Natural Science Exploration Cases

Smaller than Discovery Kits, Natural Science Exploration Cases contain hands-on Museum objects, an annotated object list, and activity ideas that are easily adaptable to your studies. Subjects correspond to the Museum's permanent galleries. All cases are available for a rental fee of $5.00 per week. Please call the Education Program office at 303-492-1666 or send an email to museumed@colorado.edu for more information or to schedule a case rental.

For All Ages

Colorado Mammals: Examine real fur and skulls of Colorado mammals, including herbivores, carnivores, and a marsupial.
Fossils of the West: Investigate life in the West millions of years ago through different types of plant and animal fossils.
Native Peoples: Explore Native American cultures through ancient and modern objects including pottery, textiles, and other trade goods.
