Education Section
The Education Section of the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History offers a varied selection of object-based museum programs for students, teachers, and families. Our programs are:
- Fun, interactive, hands-on, and designed to encourage inquiry and learning from objects
- Interdisciplinary: covering science, reading, writing, visual arts, geography, and history
- Developed to address state and local curriculum standards
- Designed to enhance student understanding of exhibits and related concepts
- Age-appropriate
Museum field trip opportunities include guided tours, guided workshops, and self-guided tours. If you are interested in classroom resources, we also rent outreach material to bring the Museum into your classroom. Teachers are encouraged to view our teacher resources page to see upcoming events and find links to other resources on the UC-Boulder campus.
